1. Mainly there are three profession archetypes in all MMORPGs. “DPS Class” – “Damage-Per-Second Class” is designed to deal total amount, of damage with very high speed. Tank class tough, one with shield and outstanding defense stats. These classes have small defense stats, but deadly melee or ranged attacks. Last one is Healer class – his abilities are focused on supporting, and healing allies but he can also try to annihilate enemies mostly from distance.
2. There are some free-to-play online MMORPG such as Runescape, where only some content the game is free and you need to pay monthly subscription, in order to enjoy the full version. This kind of subscription system is getting more fashionable.
3. Time Card can subscribe you to game for 60 days period, after that you need to purchase another one to continue your in-game travel.
4. There are MMORPGs free-to-play like Maple Story or RuneScape or pay-for-play like World of Warcraft or Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Lord of the Rings Online: Shadow of Angmar or Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.
5. Massive amount of MMORPGs exploit their players’ social abilities and offer support for in-game clans or guilds. Of course you don’t need to subscribe yourself, to guild or clans you can always enjoy game as a loner.
6. Many gamers report that the emotions they feel while gaming, a MMORPG are mighty to the extent that 8.7% of male and 23.2% of female gamers in a statistical study, have had an online wedding. Well no problem, but it’s weird…
7. There are lot of MMORPGs where you are space pirate, or games where you can be mighty dark knight. Do you ever dreamed, to became warlock? In these games, you can be whoever you want.
8. The first console-based MMORPG was Final Fantasy XI, for the Sony PlayStation 2. You can still play in this awesome online MMORPGs, it has around 500 k of subscribed accounts, mostly in Japan where it’s number 1 MMORPG. Well people in Japan love Final Fantasy series.
9. MMORPG or massively multiplayer online role-playing games, is term made by Richard Garrior creator of Ultima Online. He is also developer of Tabula Rasa, but this game was an epic fail. Sorry Richard, maybe later…
10. Most fashionable pay-for-play game is World of Warcraft, created by Blizzard Entertainment. It has over 11 millions of gamers on whole world.

Posted by mike in : Conan books , add a commentWelcome friends after long time. Well, I was totally busy - mainly because of my work and girlfriend. Well she dumped me so I’ve more time for gaming. and stuff like that so here I’m.
Have you heard, that Millennium Films want to create new movies in the world of Hybornia!No one known who will play, our muscular hero or even who will be directing new movie, in fact we know that budget will be around 100.000.000 greens - which is quite all right. I’ve heard rumor that Gerard Butler will play Conan ( you know, that guy from 300 - he played Leonidas. He was awesome!Anyway we will see what will happen next. Who knows?If you are interested you can check web and find, poster about Conan remake.
Anyway what do you think about remaking Conan the Barbarian?who is best candidate for new Conan?
Back to Age of Conan topic. You may remember or not, that in AoC we can advance on high - 80 level but leveling, is quite fast. We have many professions to choose like Demonologist (it’s someone like Warlock, from World of Warcraft), Barbarian (this dude is something like melee dps, but it’s balanced) or Assassin (this one is melee killer! His attacks are very deadly but he has very weak armor). There are 12 classes to select so everyone can find very cool class for small struggle.
What can I tell you more about Age of Conan? Well, it has outstanding graphic and amazing music. Few in-game instances are looking really brilliant, but you need powerful computer to run AoC on full details. Game engine is advanced, maybe will be great even in 2015 or something like that.
Well, game is sure very fun and it’s very nice alternative in comparison to World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online or Warhammer Online. Age of Conan is piece of really nice work, so you should get this stunning game.
If you are searching for other MMO games you should check out also free games from the web! As a player I like RuneScape, it’s splendid free browser game made for everyone who like role playing games. You can be powerful mage, brave knight or swift ranger – RuneScape is free to play so if you want to enjoy it some more just try it, please! Marvelous game with a lot of gripping ideas. There is nothing better then small farming in this game.
Mounted combat in AOC December 4, 2007
Posted by mike in : Age of Conan MMo Game , add a commentIn Age of Conan every players, when he reach required level, is able to obtain mount but in AoC on this mount you will be able to fight with other players.
In menu we’ve got mammoth, horse, and rhinos (there more but Funcom only speak about them). Your mount will be also boosting up your health and if you ride into the battlefield on it - power of your blows will rise. The greatest warriors in Age of Conan must know how to use mount in combat - this essence of the battle in this game. As you know all blow and hits its up to you - you’ve got full control under your character so this type of fight will be very advance and hard. Every mount have its own advantages and disadvantages. Mammoths are very slow but when you riding on it, you’ve got great bonus for your health. Horse are faster and more easy to maneuver.
One more thing if someone will kill your mount during combat - you are also dead, and vice - versa.
If you are starting playing in any MMORPG, you should know this. First you need to know is all cases related to your control panel. Check also all things related to movement of your character all shortcuts will be very helpful in play. Generally you are obligated to loot very quickly and you need to add abilities button in right place – during game and mainly combat this is very nice for you. Keep in mind to purchase elixirs of health and mana (if you can) and spells with scrolls – of course not to many it’s very fundamental to have massive amount of free space in your backpack/equipment. Control it just moment before you go out on raid quest or stuff like that.
Well I think you can enjoy only 2-3 hours but not too often because you can really get bored enjoying in MMORPG games :/ These time killing games are designed to devour time and our life so we should be wise while playing in Age of Conan, to not spent too much playing. Really, for our own good.
My girlfriend is yelling at me when I play in these games :/ so i don’t have big problems in that matter..heh I love her anyway because he saved my soul from most dangerous dungeons of MMORPG addiction it’s maybe funny but I was really addicted times ago. No I feel cured and very enjoying life. I feel strong and I feel might and I am also playing in football very often so visit me from time to time my friend!

People from Funcom are “happy” to inform us that they send crew on Russian games convention in Moscow from 2nd of Nov to 4th of Nov. Yeah when i will be in Moscow i will drop in - for sure…
Another new stuff INTERESTING info is about Dark Templar > interview with Jørgen Tharaldsen,
This interview is really valuable for anyone, now we can take a look on very specific class in Age of Conan. This one interview is first from now Tharaldsen, week by week, will say few words about every profession in game.
Anyway Dark Templar is mix of warrior and sorcerer - he is dangerous tank with some dark magic powers. He can fight in the first line and drain life from enemies and monster without any help from healers, of course if battle is tougher, he can use one ;). Also Dark Templar will be character focused in combat with one-hand swords and blunt weapons, he can take weapon to second hand or talisman to improve his combat damage - shield also anyway. From level 50 he will be able to use crossbow. Of course he is not only tank in game, he is very specific and different from other tanks. His vitality ( or hit points ) are lower ( but still larger from non-tank profession) but he can use various of spells ( i mentioned that before - dark magic - draining life etc. ) He will have also his own, unique combo system, without crossing combo from other classes and professions.
As you may know this genre of online games, which are Massively Multiplayer Online Games you need to do different objectives and resolve brutal conflicts with various monsters (and humans) as well. All we need to do, is to make a unique combo attacks during the fights, using some main attacks – front, left and right – and activate specific ability, which you just want to use. It may be seen as a very hard task thing to do, but It’s not. Gaining experience in that fighting system is actually simple, and you won’t have a problem using it. Ehh anyway this game is outstanding, I really like Real Combat with very realistic combo mode for players. It’s designed to deal huge damage to everyone and it’s really awesome to play. If World of Warcraft or Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning had this combo system game, would be one of the greatest ever created.

Posted by mike in : Conan pics and stuff like that , add a commentafter long break im back, ive been in hospital some time ( you know cutting and that kind of stuff), and im happy that im alive. My happy surgeon wasn’t drunk so im alive. Anyway lets back to dear Age of Conan.
First thing is Fankit, second l- long article about women in Robert E Howard world adaptation - Age of Conan.
Fankit is huge package of promo materials, ( around 100 mb ) so you can watch selected by AoC crew - pictures, music themes, great concept arts or other interesting things. Check it out. Its of official in category Fankit - so its easy to find and download.
Second but of course also important thing are females 
so females in AoC are very strong and dangerous, ready to fight and they aren’t weak sex. They are very independent and very close to Howard’s world’s females. Producers also especially for females, created tons of unique clothes and armors - for more sexy look 
..Producers also created very advanced-move system, with gigantic move databaste ( around 2500 of female moves - motion capture). They are very proud that women is unique - compared to other MMO games. If you want look on sexy females > official site > screenshots. Age of Conan “Be anything you want” October 1, 2007

From stygian nomad to nobles of Aquilonia - from level 5 player must pick his first class - mage, soldier, priest or rogue after that on level 20 player must pick another subclass, such as barbarian, conqueror, ranger or lich and many more. Its not all becouse, in Age of Conan player can have special honor class like commander, Lord or a Crafter and other. In you like play as a evil man - don’t worry there is no handicap - you can do whatever you want without penalty, every path you choose is your path.
We know now that experience cap will be on level 80, of course in expansions packs this exp. cap will be up to 90 or 100.

Weapon and armor September 1, 2007
Posted by mike in : Age of Conan MMo Game , add a commentIn Age of Conan we will witness new combat system ( i wrote about it some time ago ), but what is combat system without great magical weapons and beauty full crafted armor?i think nothing. Producers are working hard to serve us best weapons and armors. Some of this stuff will be shining - with bright magical aura, the most powerful items will be godlike - with ornaments, magical runes and jewels.
Swords, axes, maces, clubs ( my favorite …), daggers, knuckles, hammer and fist of course…and armors : clothes, medium or heavy. Remember weapons from World of Warcraft?producers of Age of Conan what to create better equipment then Blizzard - maybe this is possible?we will see..
Im sure that siege weapons will be superb - i will show you next time theatrical trailer where you will see this beaut!

Posted by mike in : Age of Conan MMo Game , add a commentOn August 20th on Game Convention in Germany ( Leipzig), game producers - company Funcom - will demonstrate few very interesting things from game. This game convention is one of the most popular that kind of shows in the world so creators of Age of Conan are very excited to participate in it.
Behind closed doors, on a demonstration for press, some gamers will be participating in player versus player in Age of Conan. Fights in AoC are very bloody and brutal so its only for adult players show. After this, will be presented new - siege battle- its completely new element in MMO genre. Guilds in game will be able to build castles and fortress, also siege equipment and hire some NPC soldiers. Battles will be barbaric and brutal, without taking any prisoners. After battle one side will be able to destroy battlekeep of the enemy.
I think is great idea - in fact i was thinking about that some time ago..

Posted by mike in : Age of Conan MMo Game , add a commentFirst and most important god is Mitra the most kind and wise god. Every follower must have strong sense of rules and justice. He or she don’t need any form of sacrifice, only prayer and life close to ascetic form.
Another god in Hybornian - Conan world - is evil and very selfish - Set. His followers are in Stygia - land ruled by theocratic government. Set’s ideal form of prayer is - sacrifice of young virgins - he love blood and suffering. His priests are frightening and even followers of Set are afraid oh them.
Of course there is Crom - Conan’s god - basically every Cymerian is believing in Crom. He hates any form of prayer because prayer is connected to weakness - his followers must be strong and tough, only then, if someone impress him with his power and will - Crom look upon him.

On the official site you can read article about Conqueror class. Its interesting type of class that is master in weapon -arts - very offensive with deadly special ability’s. He can wear cloth armor or heaviest armors but he can’t wield a shield. He can use heave swords, two- handed weapons of any type or two weapons in the same time - if he choose first variant - he’s got access to special moves with double handed weapon, if he choose second - he’s got different moves for using 2 one handed weapon’s.
They’ve got very powerfull Dancing Steel his attacks are starting with Hail of Furious Strikes and after that kind of move when conqueror is advanced and strong, he is ending with - Barrage of Furious Strikes.
Barbarians if Age of Conan are characters that are attacking with powerfull blows in very short period of time, conquerors are more balanced, with powerfull combos but they can use various armor type’s. Barbarian can use only light - cloth armors or medium but not heavy.
Conquerors can use also auras - like paladin in World of Warcraft - he is helping his party to do more damage, to add some amount of armor and he is protecting them. Im more powerfull conqueror is the more powerfull are his auras.
